Members of the Nahant Fire Department trained on Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) abilities on Sunday, with an emphasis on methods for helping distressed firefighters during interior operations. Coordinated search strategies, communication, and safety protocols were all reiterated during the training. Firefighter Worman was commended by the department for spearheading the training and promoting ongoing preparedness on the fireground.
