Littleton, NH — November 9 — Department The second session of a collaborative officer development program with the St. Johnsbury Fire Department was held at Littleton Fire Rescue, located at 230 West Main St. By enhancing leadership, incident command abilities, and daily decision-making, the quarterly program helps company officers and Acting Duty Officers.

The most recent training, which focused on how officers may handle crucial conversations with their crews, was delivered by South Burlington Lt. Roger Gosselin. In order to practice directing performance and politely handling concerns, participants engaged in roleplay scenarios and studied communication skills. Additionally, by bringing senior and junior officers together to exchange knowledge, the workshop strengthened interagency cooperation. A shared supper at the Littleton Community Centre marked the end of the program, fostering professional relationships and teamwork between the two departments.
