Botsford, CT — November 8 —Early Saturday morning, Botsford Fire Rescue was asked to assist the Town of Southbury with manpower at a structure fire. Engine 552 and Utility 556 responded with four firemen. After aiding on-scene, the crew momentarily provided station coverage for the Southbury Volunteer Fire Department. Center Fire Company, Woodbury Volunteer Fire Department, and Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire & Rescue all gave mutual assistance support. Botsford Fire Rescue praised all departments for their synchronized response.
