Middlesex Responds to Early-Morning Vehicle Call

Middlesex, NY — November 13 — Middlesex Fire and Rushville Fire were dispatched around 7:00 a.m. to a reported vehicle fire on State Route 245, south of Caward Cross. Crews arrived and discovered that the car was experiencing a mechanical problem with no fire involved.
Engine 16, PT-46, and Rescue 8 responded, as did the Yates County Sheriff's Office. All units restored to duty shortly after the situation was deemed safe. The department hailed the members for their prompt response early in the morning.
