Berlin, NH — November 11 — Berlin IAFF Local 1088's professional firefighters joined communities across in honouring the men and women who have served in the US military on Veterans Day. In order to support their neighbors during trying times, many local veterans continue their dedication to duty by volunteering in emergency response and fire departments. The agency emphasized the sacrifices made by veterans and their families, particularly the difficulties of military service and time spent away from home. Ceremonies were held by local groups to consider the significance of service and freedom.
