Middlesex, NY — November 20 —On Thursday evening, Middlesex Fire was dispatched to a report of a single-vehicle crash with the driver seen walking away from the roadway. Firefighters located the individual nearby. The person was evaluated by Middlesex EMTs and released.

Crews reduced traffic to one lane and assisted with scene safety until the incident was turned over to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office. No additional fire or EMS support was required. All units returned to service after the roadway was secured.

Responding agencies included Middlesex Fire and the Yates County Sheriff’s Office. Middlesex Ambulance and Canandaigua Emergency Squad were initially dispatched but later canceled.
