AVON, NY - Shortly after noon, January 16, Avon firefighters responded to a garbage truck on fire in the parking lot of Kraft Heinz on Wadsworth Avenue in the village.
Prior to arrival of firefighters, the driver had dumped the burning contents of the truck on to the pavement.
The fire was extinguished with no damage to the truck and no injuries were reported.
Also assisting at the scene were Livingston County EMS, Avon Police and Livingston County Emergency Management.
