Oct. 23, 2025 — Baldwin County Fire Rescue, in coordination with the Baldwin County Board of Commissioners, shared an important message from Georgia Power regarding the upcoming Lake Sinclair drawdown, scheduled to begin this Saturday. Residents are urged to secure all boats and personal watercraft and to remove any vessels intended for trailering before water levels begin to drop.

Georgia Power also reminds property owners to obtain required permits before conducting any shoreline work, including ground disturbance, vegetation removal or addition, construction of new structures, or maintenance to existing seawalls, docks, and boathouses. Officials thank the community for its cooperation during the drawdown period.
