RINDGE, NH — October 28 — Due to recent rainfall and increased humidity, which reduced the risk of wildfires throughout the region, New Hampshire has lifted the statewide burn ban. Dry leaves continue to be a worry throughout the autumn, and fire danger can still fluctuate due to continued drought conditions. Residents are reminded by the Rindge Fire Department that any outdoor burning still requires a fire permit. Permits can be acquired online from the state or through local fire officials. The New Hampshire Division of Forests and Lands' daily fire danger forecast, which offers the most precise advice, should be consulted by locals prior to burning. Safe burning procedures are still crucial for stopping the spread of wildfires and safeguarding local resources.
