Cayuga, NY — November 25 —Cayuga Fire Department members completed training on a new Stryker Power Pro 2 stretcher, allowing A-1 to return to service with upgraded patient transport equipment. The department noted that a recent grant covered most of the cost of the stretcher, helping modernize its EMS capabilities.

Training focused on safe loading and unloading procedures, troubleshooting, and operational features designed to reduce physical strain and support patient care. Cayuga Fire said the new stretcher will assist responders during a wide range of medical calls and thanked supporters who helped make the upgrade possible.
