Elmore Students Learn Fire Safety During Station Visit

Elmore, VT — October 31 —Elmore School students visited the Elmore Fire Department for their annual Fire Prevention field trip, which focused on emergency knowledge and home safety. Firefighters instructed children on how to report an emergency by calling 911 and what to do if a fire occurs. The visit also included hands-on learning, with students putting on protective gear and sitting inside a fire truck to see where firefighters work.
