The Grand Isle Volunteer Fire Department has been awarded the competitive Vermont Wildland Fire Gear Grant 2025, which is managed by the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks, and Recreation. The funding is a 50/50 match, allowing the department to acquire much-needed wildfire safety equipment for its firefighters.
