Grand Isle Firefighters Recognized on National First Responders Day

Grand Isle, VT — October 28 — The Grand Isle Volunteer Fire Department commemorated National First Responders Day by recognizing its members' continuous service. Every week, firefighters in the department train to maintain skills that support a safe and successful response. They also answer calls at all times and in all weather conditions. In addition to emergency operations, members participate in community events and outreach to ensure that locals understand fire safety and who can aid.
