Wolfeboro, NH — November 1 — Group 3 and Engine 2 were sent to help a nearby community during an active incident, according to the Wolfeboro Fire-Rescue Department. Wolfeboro Central Station was staffed by call members and off-duty career workers to provide complete emergency service coverage while those units worked on the scene. In order to guarantee that resources are accessible in the event of bigger or simultaneous calls, the department stated that mutual-aid relationships are an essential component of regional disaster planning in New Hampshire. Wolfeboro was able to support another jurisdiction without compromising domestic readiness by swiftly shifting workforce. While activities at the mutual-aid event continued, the system enabled ongoing response to fire and EMS demands around the community. Wolfeboro Fire-Rescue expressed gratitude to staff members for their cooperation and adaptability.
