Wolfeboro, NH — October 31 — Families had a safe place to trick-or-treat during the Wolfeboro Fire-Rescue Department's neighbourhood Halloween celebration. Children in costume came to the station to pick up treats from volunteers and department staff. The event supported seasonal safety advice for families and provided a well-lit area away from busy roadways. Young guests could learn more about local emergency services from firefighters who were on hand to respond to enquiries and demonstrate equipment. These kinds of community gatherings have become widespread in New Hampshire as fire departments continue their outreach initiatives to promote safety and foster relationships with locals. Wolfeboro Fire-Rescue expressed gratitude to all attendees and mentioned that constructive interactions bolster support for emergency response and public education.
