Farmington Crews Hold Central Street Fire to One Apartment

Farmington, NH — November 6 — In the evening, the Farmington NH Fire Department, located at 160 Main Street, responded to a structure fire at 114 Central Street. following reports of a deck fire at a multi-unit building's back. The threat of an extension prompted the request for a first alarm. Farmington Engine 3 swiftly arrived, extended a handline to the back, and put out the external active fire. As Rochester Engine 4 and Milton Truck 5 moved inside to the second level, where they came under intense fire, Rochester Chief 2 took over. Crews stopped the issue from spreading to other apartments by limiting it to just one. While EMS was on standby for safety, mutual-aid partners from many local agencies provided assistance. There were no reported injuries, and every occupant was present.
