Genoa, NY — November 24 — The Genoa Volunteer Fire Department attended a joint training event hosted by the Scipio, Venice, and Ledyard Fire Districts. Engine 1 replied with a crew of five. Fingerlakes Fire Training LLC provided hands-on evolutions covering hose line progression, search, ladder positioning, and ventilation considerations. Members from all departments attended, and the training provided assignments for everyone on the scene.
