Gainesville Fire Rescue supports IMPACT GNV Community Care Callout in East Gainesville

November 12, 2025 — Gainesville Fire Rescue reported that on Monday, its IMPACT GNV team hosted a Community Care Callout at the Clarence R. Kelly Community Center in East Gainesville. The event provided meals, groceries, and essential resources to local residents, continuing the department’s commitment to community wellness and support.


According to GFR, the initiative was made possible through collaboration with the B.O.L.D. Program, Violence Interrupters, the Community Resource Paramedicine Program, and key partners including the Gainesville Police Department, Alachua County Victim Services, Alachua County Crisis Center, City Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs, Public Works, and various community members.


The department expressed gratitude to all partners who contributed to the success of the event and emphasized the importance of ongoing support for residents impacted by violence and hardship.
