November 14, 2025 — Alachua County Fire Rescue reported that Cadet Post 507 took part in the 2025 Cadet Fest, joining Palm Beach County Fire Rescue for a full day of hands-on training and skill development. Ten ACFR youth cadets attended the event, engaging in multiple training stations designed to provide real-world insight into the responsibilities and challenges of the fire service.
According to the department, the cadets gained valuable experience through practical exercises and interactive learning that emphasized teamwork, safety, and foundational firefighting skills. The event served as an important opportunity for young participants to deepen their understanding of the fire service and strengthen their commitment to serving their communities.
ACFR extended its gratitude to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue for hosting the event and supporting the growth and development of future firefighters.
