Alachua County Fire Rescue recognizes Aileen Corrales as its first Certified Community Health Worker

November 20, 2025 — Alachua County Fire Rescue announced a significant milestone for its Mobile Integrated Healthcare team, congratulating Aileen Corrales on becoming the department’s first Certified Community Health Worker (CHW).


According to ACFR, Corrales dedicated extensive time and effort to completing the required coursework, hands-on field training, and daily responsibilities serving residents throughout the county. Her certification marks an important advancement not only in her own career, but also in the continued growth and capability of ACFR’s community health programs.


The department praised Corrales for her compassion, professionalism, and commitment to improving the overall well-being of Alachua County residents. Her achievement is expected to enhance the services provided through the Mobile Integrated Healthcare team and strengthen community outreach and support initiatives.
