Bushkill, PA — November 6 — Bushkill Volunteer Fire Company was called to a car collision with entrapment on Bushkill Falls Road in Lehman Township. One patient was trapped inside the car when the crews arrived, and they started the extrication process with Lehman Pike Emergency Medical Services. The patient was safely removed and brought to EMS care after tools were utilized to obtain access.

A medical helicopter was sought due to the extent of the injuries and the isolated location of the route. The patient was moved for air evacuation after firefighters set up a landing zone at the South Contact Station on Route 209 in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Until the car was secured and the road was cleared, units stayed on the scene.
