Danville, PA — November 18 — The Valley Township Fire Department finished an evening training session that focused on hose deployment, hydrant maintenance, and pump operations. Instructors stressed the significance of comprehending water circulation from hydrant to pump to nozzle, even though the department uses a CAFS system for the majority of replies.

While engine crews studied appropriate pump pressures, handline selection, and hose layout to support quick fire attack, junior members exercised their duties at the hydrant. In order to minimise delays during the creation of the water supply, the training strengthened communication between pump operators and nozzle teams.
