Station 34 Reports 437 Calls for Service in 2025

As 2025 came to an end, the Collegeville Fire Company released its yearly Year in Review, showcasing a hectic year of service for Station 34 and its volunteers. Firefighters recorded 7,399.34 total man-hours and responded to 437 service requests during the year. These hours covered training, emergency response, fundraising, and administrative tasks completed by members all year long.

With 167 calls, Upper Providence Township had the most responses, followed by Collegeville Borough with 136 and Lower Providence Township with 70. With Squad 34 responding to 207 occurrences, Utility 34-1 to 103, Engine 34 to 94, and Utility 34 to 22, apparatus activity stayed consistent. With 123 answers, fire alarms were the most frequent call type. Building fires and carbon monoxide detector activations without symptoms came in second and third, respectively. In order to help with traffic management and scene safety, fire police officers also responded to 68 callouts.
