Firewire Montour County Responds to Working Structure Fire in Berwick

Danville, PA — October 26 — Department In Berwick, Firewire Montour County was called to a working structure fire in the 1600 block of Market Street. Chief 20 informed county officials that units would be responding briefly, and Rehab 31 and Squad 35 were dispatched to the scene. After Firewire resources verified their arrival, the county cancelled Rehab 131.

In addition to helping with firefighter rotation, hydration, and medical monitoring as needed, crews assisted operations by setting up rehabilitation services for staff on the fireground. Command maintained tight coordination with Berwick fire units and mutual-aid partners engaged in internal structure suppression throughout the response.
