Patchogue NY,,, Wednesday night around 6pm on November 24 2021 Patchogue fire firefighter were activated for a reported apt fire on the second floor at 75 rider ave in the river terrace apartment complex. Firefighters arrived to find a subject at the bottom on the steps upon entering the apt. Fire fighters extinguished a fire on the second floor as well as at the bottom of the steps .SCPD Arson squad and Crime scene as well as Brookhaven fire Marshals all responded for an investigation and the subject was pronounced dead at the entrance way
