EMS, PSP, and fire police support roadway and patient care operations

Hummels Wharf, PA — November 12 — Department On Route 11 in Monroe Township, Hummels Wharf Fire-Rescue, located at 1869 N Old Trl, Hummels Wharf, PA, USA, responded to a car accident with casualties. Chief 71, the Squad, and Attack arrived at the scene of Incident 2025-0470 in Box Area 70-9. One car with an initially unresponsive occupant was found by crews on an embankment. The patient became conscious and, with help, self-extricated while the car was being stabilized. For a little more than an hour, operations continued to assist safe vehicle recovery, traffic control, and medical treatment. Shamokin Dam Fire Company, Northumberland Fire Department, Well Span-Evangelical EMS, PSP, Keller's Auto Body, PennDOT, and Sunbury and Northumberland Fire Police all contributed extra assistance until the road was cleared.
