East Windsor, N.J — Nov. 3 — East Windsor Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 responded to Lake Drive at 3:29 a.m. for a first-alarm fire involving multiple trucks burning next to a commercial building. East Windsor Volunteer Fire Company No. 2 and mutual-aid partners, including Tunkhannock Township Volunteer Fire Company Station 42, assisted on scene.
Crews extinguished the trucks and cooled the exterior wall to prevent heat transfer into the structure. Interior and thermal checks confirmed that the fire did not extend into the building. Once the scene was secured and all hot spots were addressed, command released units. No injuries were reported.
