Ridgewood, N.J. — December 5 — The Ridgewood Fire Department honored member achievements and service in 2025 with their yearly beefsteak supper and awards presentation on Monday night. Platoon C was given a Unit Citation during the event. Captain Brendan Corcoran, Lt. Michael Kakolewski, Lt. Brian Peacock, firefighters Paul Brennan, Anthony Dinice, Chris Eidschun, Jason Jacoby, Daniel Kostro, Oscar Martinez, Kevin Monton, and Steve Scanapico were among the honored members.

Additionally, two Lifesaving Awards were given out. Lt. Joseph Ferraro, Firefighter Michael McLaughlin, and Firefighters/EMTs Tyler Biagi, Mark Barone, and Chris Santucci received one. A second Lifesaving Award recognized Lt. Ryan Romero along with Firefighters/EMTs Brian Kelly, Matt Bombace, and Tim Bombace.
