On November 19, 2025, Huntingdon Regional Fire & Rescue reported a notably active four-day span, beginning Friday, November 14, and continuing into the workweek. Calls included multiple motor vehicle collisions, a commercial fire alarm, wires down, brush fires, and several medical assists across multiple box areas. On Monday, daylight crews were dispatched to a crash in the 19-20 box but were redirected to transfer coverage at Station 20 while crews operated at an outside fire in Mifflin County, later handling an additional brush fire. That same evening, members conducted a joint training drill with Penn Highlands Huntingdon staff, providing valuable experience for newer personnel. By Tuesday, the company responded to both a dwelling fire and another medical assist. With 434 calls logged so far this year—already surpassing last year’s total—HRFR expressed appreciation for its dedicated volunteers and their continued commitment to serving the community.
