Winslow Township, N.J — Nov. 8 — A piece of department history has returned home, as the refurbished station bell has been reinstalled in front of the Cedar Brook Road Station/Headquarters sign. The bell, which is thought to be 80 to almost 100 years old, was recently sent out for restoration and repainted in colors that match the department's identity. The bell originally sat atop the building when it served as a schoolhouse, long before the community and fire department expanded.
