Winslow Township, N.J — Nov. 6 — Platoon B firefighters learned firefighter self-survival tactics on the Taylor'd Prop simulator provided by the department. The design comprised a darkened maze, low-profile obstacles, and disentanglement challenges to help increase confidence and skill while wearing complete SCBA in stressful conditions.

The Taylor'd Prop enables the department to train in over 10 disciplines without leaving the township, ensuring that firefighters remain on duty and prepared to respond during training times. The department stated that the program was funded through a grant, allowing people to receive advanced training at no cost.
