On November 17, 2025, Mountville Fire Company No. 1 was dispatched to the 600 block of Habecker Church Road in Manor Township to assist the Blue Rock Regional Fire District with a brush and barn fire. Engine 7-2, Air 7, and the Duty Officer responded, confirming a significant working fire upon arrival. As the second-arriving engine company, E7-2 positioned on the Bravo side with Ladder 80, securing a water supply to support multiple handlines and the aerial device. With the timely arrival of Tanker 79, nurse tanker operations began until a dumpsite was established. Despite strong winds and challenging conditions, coordinated efforts from all responding agencies helped prevent extensive structural loss. The company extends appreciation to all mutual aid partners for their teamwork and support.
