November 17, 2025 — Full Allamuchy Township Volunteer Fire Department reported that earlier this morning, members were dispatched to Route 80 near mile marker 18 for a reported car fire. Upon arrival, firefighters confirmed a working vehicle fire and quickly stretched a hoseline to bring the blaze under control.
According to the department, Engine 9161’s crew initiated the attack, while Tanker 9171 supplied additional water and assisted with traffic and scene safety. Crews remained on location to perform overhaul and ensure the fire was fully extinguished before clearing the scene.
The Allamuchy Township Volunteer Fire Department noted that all units operated for approximately one hour before returning to service.
