November 19, 2025 — Lancaster City Bureau of Fire

As the season of gratitude approaches, the Lancaster City Bureau of Fire is highlighting notable accomplishments from the past year. On November 16, 2024, B Platoon units from Truck 1, Truck 2, and Engine 1 responded to a northwest section vehicle rollover. Lancaster Police officers and bystanders removed an unresponsive occupant from the overturned vehicle, and upon arrival, LCBF personnel immediately initiated CPR. After several rounds of resuscitation efforts, the patient regained a pulse and has since made a full recovery. Unit Citations were awarded to Lt. Alex Carcamo, Lt. Matt Guisbert, and Firefighters Luke Hausler, Andrew Lefever, Mike Peters, Angel Rosario, Erik Austin, and Jonah Lake. In addition, a Clinical Save Award was presented to Lt. Carcamo, FF Peters, and FF Austin for their direct lifesaving actions.
