November 17, 2025 — Alpine Fire Department reported that members traveled to Sparkill for a joint training drill hosted by the Sparkill-Palisades Fire Department. The exercise allowed Alpine firefighters to sharpen critical fireground skills, including search operations, victim removal, and hose line advancement.
According to the department, realistic, scenario-based training remains essential to maintaining operational readiness and ensuring efficient performance during emergency responses. Alpine Fire Department expressed its gratitude to Sparkill-Palisades Fire for organizing and facilitating the valuable training opportunity.
The department noted that continued collaboration with neighboring agencies strengthens teamwork, reinforces best practices, and ultimately enhances public safety across the region.
