Laureldale, N.J — Oct. 25 — At 2:38 p.m., Laureldale Fire Rescue was responded to the Festival at Hamilton for Call #412, which involved a report of smoke inside a business structure. The assignment was expanded to include mutual-aid partners from Cologne and Mays Landing due to the nature of the report and the size of the property.
Engine 33 arrived and began inspecting the affected store, while Mays Landing Tanker 19 assessed nearby units for potential extensions. Cologne Tower 18 entered the roof to investigate HVAC and utility areas for evidence of heat or smoke. After a thorough examination of the structure and nearby supplies, personnel discovered no hazards, and the leadership released all units. There were no casualties recorded, and normal business operations resumed.
