Dauphin, PA — November 6 — Over two hours, the Dauphin – Middle Paxton Fire Company responded to five storm-related calls as strong winds moved through the region. One of the calls involved a brush fire along a wooded roadside, with flames moving through dry leaves and debris. Apparatus was positioned for traffic control, and firefighters applied water to stop the fire from extending further into the tree line. Additional storm responses during the period included trees down and weather hazards affecting roadways.
All calls were cleared without injuries or extended closures. Crews checked the area for hotspots and debris before returning to service.
