Engine 56 Assists EMS with MedEvac Landing Zone in Fawn Township

Fawn Township, Pa. — October 23 — On Thursday morning, Citizens Volunteer Fire Company was requested by Southern York County EMS to establish a landing zone for a medical incident. Engine 56 responded to a nearby field and set up a safe landing area for Stat MedEvac 13 to facilitate rapid air transport. Units remained on scene until the helicopter departed and the incident was cleared.
