Patterson Heights VFD Honors Veterans in Its Ranks

Patterson Heights, Pa. — November 11 —The Patterson Heights Volunteer Fire Department observed Veterans Day to honor the devotion and sacrifice of military veterans in its ranks and throughout the community. Members discussed the importance that veterans continue to play in public safety, noting that the characteristics taught in military duty frequently transfer immediately to the fire department - devotion, discipline, and putting others first.

The department extended a special thank you to active and past service members who are now serving with PHVFD: Phil Alberti, US Navy (Active Duty); Rob Wilson, Pennsylvania National Guard (Active Duty); Carl Portman, US Army; Christin Milnes, US Army; and Michael Caler, US Navy.
