Chippewa Township, Pa. — October 28 — The Chippewa Township Volunteer Fire Department commemorated National First Responders Day by honoring firemen, EMS personnel, police officers, dispatchers, and other emergency professionals who protect their communities. The department underlined that first responders continue to attend calls at all hours, frequently putting others' needs ahead of their own.
