GADSDEN COUNTY, FL - At 4:33PM on Monday, November 22, Gadsden County 9-1-1 dispatched a reported fire alarm in the 200 block of Wilson Lane in the Robertsville section of Gadsden County. Afternotifying emergency services, the alarm company made contact with the occupants to confirm the alarm and was told there was an active fire. It was unknown whether the residence was on involved or something outside of the residence was. The initial dispatch requested Robertsville Volunteer Fire Department (first due) and Mount Pleasant Volunteer Fire Department. Additional mutual aid was requested from the City of Quincy and City of Gretna Fire Departments.

Upon arrival there was a single story, double wide mobile home that was well involved with smoke and flames showing through the roof. Most of the active fire was on the "B" and "C" side of the structure. Personnel made entry through the front door on the "A" Side with a stretched line and knocked down the fire on the interior while crews began working the exterior on the "B" and "C" side of the home. Interior crews came out as the "B" side was ventilated to gain access to the attic area where there was still some fire a light smoke conditions and with another line were able to knock down the fire in that area.

Crews confirmed that the occupant and her pets were the only ones in the home and all were able to get out uninjured.
