Naples, FL - The Greater Naples Fire Rescue District responded to a residential structure fire on 17th Avenue SW in Golden Gate City, where crews encountered heavy fire conditions extending through the roof, along with a vehicle fire in the driveway.

Firefighters initiated an aggressive interior and exterior attack, successfully bringing both the structure and vehicle fires under control. All occupants had safely evacuated prior to arrival, and no civilian injuries were reported.

One firefighter was transported for evaluation after experiencing heat exhaustion while operating on scene and is expected to recover.

Assistance was provided by the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, Collier County EMS, and North Collier Fire Rescue. The American Red Cross is assisting displaced residents. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
