Marshalls Creek, Pa. — October 25 — On Saturday, units of the Marshalls Creek Fire Company responded to a multi-agency brush fire in Porter Township, Pike County. Following a call for assistance from personnel already working in the area, the department dispatched 29 Command, Brush 5, Brush 15, Utility 6, the UTV, and Engine 1.

In a wooded area with restricted access, the fire spread due to dry late-October weather. While Engine 1 supplied water and supported suppression efforts, Marshalls Creek's brush and UTV teams helped reach off-road areas. In order to improve containment lines and restrict the spread of the fire, responding firms collaborated.
