Marshalls Creek Handles Full Day of Calls and Community Events.

Marshalls Creek, Pa. — November 2 — Starting with a domestic fire alarm in the 1800 block of Big Ridge Drive, Marshalls Creek Fire Company handled a full schedule of incidents and community events on Sunday. EMS personnel came to Shawnee Mountain later in the morning to instruct ski patrollers on the advantages and drawbacks of the LUCAS mechanical CPR machine.

Several units participated in the department's annual Veterans Day Parade in the early afternoon, where it displayed its UTV. Rescue 29-10 and Bushkill EMS responded to an ATV rollover with injuries in the 00 block of Arbutus Lane during the incident. Soon later, the ambulance team attended a youth football game at Stroudsburg High School as standby coverage.
