Parkville, MD - Shortly after 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 21st, units were alerted for Rescue Box 10-2, reporting that a woman had fallen on a trail at Double Rock Park in Parkville and was injured.

Units from Baltimore County FD stations 8, 10, 11 (ATV 11), 16, 17 (USAR 17) and Lutherville Vol. FD Squad 303 were alerted, along with Battalion Chief 1 and EMS 6. First-arriving BCoFD Engine 10 confirmed the report to 911 and assigned Truck 8's crew to initiate a stokes basket operation, along with firefighters from Squad 303. Command canceled the USAR and ATV units, as the patient was accessible via a trail not far from the parking lot.

Firefighters treated the woman for a broken leg on the scene and she was transported via Medic 16 to Franklin Square Hospital.
