Lewis Run, Pa. — November 16 — Mike Valine, a veteran Bradford City firefighter and BC3 instructor, led a vehicle rescue training session for the Lewis Run Volunteer Fire Department, located at 46–48 Main Street, on Sunday. The practical training, which focused on techniques utilized during roadside situations, was attended by ten members.

In order to get safe access to occupants following motor vehicle accidents, firefighters rehearsed vehicle stabilization, door removal, and roof removal. These drills assist in preparing staff for the kinds of reactions frequently encountered in McKean County's high-traffic zones, such as Route 219 and Route 59.
