Lafayette, Pa. — October 30 — When an automobile and a deer collided on Route 59 on Thursday morning, the Lafayette Township Volunteer Fire/Rescue Department, located at 7004 Route 59, arrived to help Station 19. No injuries were recorded, however the car was inoperable and blocked the road as a result of the collision.
Until Donovan's Towing arrived to remove the car, firefighters stayed on the site to control traffic. The incident happened in the dark and with a lot of rain, making it difficult for workers on the road to see.
