Daytona Beach, FL - Crews responded to a structure fire at a Daytona Beach home on November 3rd.
Heavy smoke and flames were coming from the side of the house. The occupant of the house was asleep when a neighbor noticed smoke and went to wake him up to exit the house. The owner evacuated and was not injured.
Crews attacked the fire, which started in the home’s utility room/laundry room, and were able to keep it from spreading. The Red Cross was called to assist the homeowner and one tenant with living assistance.
