Bradford Responds to Second-Alarm Structure Fire in Rew.

Bradford, Pa. — November 12 — At 1416 hours, Bradford City Firefighters, located at 25 Chestnut St., Bradford, Pennsylvania, responded to a working structure fire in Rew as part of a multi-departmental assignment. Command requested a second alert when first-arriving units observed smoke and flames on the building's A-side. At 1425, the City of Bradford's Station 1 was added to the incident.
Shortly after, Squad 1 arrived with Rew Engine 8. While attack lines were being deployed, they laid a supply line and made an initial knock with the deck gun. Tower 1 joined the suppression efforts at 1430 after arriving on the scene with a complete crew. Rew, Derrick City, Bradford Township, Otto Township, Lewis Run, and the City of Bradford were among the responding agencies.
