Bradford, Pa. — October 23 — Bradford City Firefighters, located at 25 Chestnut St. in Bradford, Pennsylvania, finished their yearly refresher on HazMat Operations under the guidance of a Butler County Community College instructor accredited by the Pennsylvania State Fire Academy. A lecture on hazard identification, safety concerns, protective gear, and operational-level responsibilities kicked off the day at 0900.

Firefighters went to American Refining Group for a hands-on training session organized by the ARG Fire Brigade after the classroom portion. The group was held on site by Chief Rettger, where participants examined industrial hazards, worked through practical evolutions, and talked about response concerns unique to refinery contexts.
